CGTC SGA Opens Community Garden on Warner Robins Campus

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) students in the Student Government Association (SGA) took on a creative initiative to open a community garden this spring to help foster community and healthy living. CGTC Becomes the First College Campus in Central Georgia to Open a Disc Golf Course

Warner Robins, Ga. – A new campus life activity launched this spring as Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) and the Houston County Disc Golf Club (HCDGC) partnered to bring an 18-hole competition-level disc golf course to its Warner Robins campus.

Atlanta, Ga.- The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) announced the state’s top instructor for 2024.Sharoko Farley, a Commercial Truck Driving instructor from Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC), was chosen as the winner of this year’s Rick Perkins Award for Excellence in Technical Instruction.

CGTC Students Recognized at State Leadership Conference

Warner Robins, Ga. – Three Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) students took part in The Technical College System of Georgia’s State Leadership Conference in April, returning home with some recognition and awards for their involvement.  
Roshon Jackson, Nandhi Mathis, and Donald Masinde, students from CGTC were present at the conference and received several awards. Students participated in an itinerary filled with workshops and motivational speakers that encouraged leadership and effective communication.

AI-Enhanced Robotic Manufacturing Studio Opens at Georgia VECTR Center

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) and the Georgia Veterans Education Career Transition Resource (VECTR) Center officially cut the ribbon in celebration of the opening of its AI-Enhanced Robotic Manufacturing Studio on April 17. Central Georgia Technical College Earns No. 3 Ranking for Large Community Colleges with Military Friendly ® School Designation

Warner Robins, Ga. – Military Friendly® released its rank of large community colleges this week and Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) earned the 2024-2025 Military Friendly® School Top-10 designation, ranking No. 3 in the large community college category. CGTC Celebrates Recent High Academic Achievements of Peach and Bibb Dual Enrollment Students

Warner Robins, Ga. – With thousands of Dual Enrollment students at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC), two students have recently stood out among the brightest at their local high schools.  
In Peach County, Kelsie Perez earned recognition as Peach County High School’s valedictorian and has been accepted into Georgia Institute of Technology (GT) in the fall. A’Laila Hampton, of Bibb County, is a senior at Southwest High School and was announced as salutatorian.

CGTC Commencement Ceremony Coming to Atrium Health Amphitheater on May 3

Macon, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) is pleased to announce that its 2024 Commencement Ceremony will take place at the new, Atrium Health Amphitheater on Friday, May 3 at 7 p.m. 
The College leadership welcomes the location change for this year’s graduation to continue the momentum of support for Macon-Bibb Counties’ improvements to the Eisenhower Boulevard and Macon Mall area; an area central to the College’s mission.

CGTC Announces Inaugural NJCAA Division-I Football Schedule
