Welcome to Central Georgia Technical College!
CGTC provides a New Student Orientation program to fully inform new and returning students on all areas of the College. This Orientation introduces students to the facilities, rules and policies, work ethics, programs of study, and student activities. This service is designed to help students make appropriate adjustments to the College, instructional programs, and student services. During orientation, you will discuss your course schedule with an academic advisor, learn more about student resources available on campus, and connect with current students, faculty, and staff.
Choose only one orientation session to attend, as the same information will be covered in each. Students must register in advance to attend and may bring only one guest.
Spring 2026 Orientation sessions have concluded, and no additional in-person or virtual sessions will be held. Students who were unable to attend may still complete Orientation by viewing the Virtual Orientation Session and reviewing the Orientation Packet using the links below.

Dual Enrollment (high school) students: Information about your specific orientation dates will be provided by your High School Initiatives Coordinator.
An Online Orientation Presentation, to be used as a go-to resource for students to refer back to during their time at CGTC, can be accessed by following the link (here) and signing into your Student Email Account.
