Welcome to Central Georgia Technical College!
CGTC provides a New Student Orientation program to fully inform new and returning students on all areas of the College. This Orientation introduces students to the facilities, rules and policies, work ethics, programs of study, and student activities. This service is designed to help students make appropriate adjustments to the College, instructional programs, and student services. During orientation, you will discuss your course schedule with an academic advisor, learn more about student resources available on campus, and connect with current students, faculty, and staff.
Choose only one orientation session to attend, as the same information will be covered in each. Students must register in advance to attend and may bring only one guest.

Important Orientation Information
- In-person sessions fill up fast! Space is limited for in-person Orientation, and once a session reaches capacity, we’re not able to open additional spots. If you’d like to attend in person, be sure to register early for the date that works best for you.
- Virtual options are available. The same information is covered at every session — whether you attend in person or virtually — so you only need to sign up for one Orientation.
- Made a duplicate registration? No worries! If you accidentally registered more than once, please email us right away so we can make the correct updates to your registration.
- Check your email! After you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Be sure to keep it handy (printed or on your phone) for Orientation Day.

Financial Aid (FAFSA 2026–2027)
If you have not already done so, please complete your 2026–2027 FAFSA if you plan to attend during the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, or Summer 2027 semesters.
Be sure to submit this as early as possible to avoid delays in processing.

Dual Enrollment (high school) students: Information about your specific orientation dates will be provided by your High School Initiatives Coordinator.
