CGTC Student Leaders Shine at Joint State Leadership Conference in Atlanta

Warner Robins, Ga. – This Spring, student leaders from across Georgia gathered in Atlanta for the Joint State Leadership Conference, hosted in collaboration by the Georgia Student Government Association (GSGA), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), among the top competitors were Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) students.

Representing CGTC’s Student Government Association (SGA) were Jazmin Bennett, Anton Evans, and Jordan Tolbert, who proudly competed in the Job Interview category. In addition to their competition, they actively participated in workshops and team-building sessions, demonstrating strong leadership and unwavering support for their peers throughout the weekend.

Thanks to their outstanding achievements, all FBLA competitors have earned the opportunity to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Dallas, TX, from May 30 to June 2, 2025.

Advisors in attendance included Jessica Coats (SGA), Valarie Edwards (SGA), Brione Burrows, and Courtney Watkins (FBLA), who provided support and guidance throughout the conference.

This event highlighted the power of collaboration, preparation, and passion for leadership. Central Georgia’s student leaders returned inspired and ready to continue making a positive impact in their schools and communities.
