Warner Robins, Ga. – Just a few weeks remain until Central Georgia Technical College’s (CGTC) Foundation tees off on one of its longest-standing fundraising initiatives, its annual Golf Tournament, benefitting student scholarships.
Ahead of the tournament, the Foundation continues to extend opportunities for sponsorship and support of scholarship initiatives as it hopes to improve upon the more than $42,000 raised in 2024.
“Our recent enrollment growth and impact of workforce development in our community, make the commitment from our community even more meaningful,” said Tonya McClure, CGTC’s associate vice president for Advancement.
“A record number of students have applied for local scholarships in the last year, and we look forward to seeing how the continued generosity from local organizations will impact their lives in the future.”
The tournament kicks off with a shotgun start at noon on April 8 at Houston Lake Country Club in Perry.
Official sponsor and team entry prices range from $1500 to $5000. Players and sponsors are invited to network, lunch, and briefly learn from college leadership and students about the impact of student scholarships, before taking to the links in competition.
Joining as corporate sponsors this year are Houston Healthcare, Parrish Construction Group, LLC., Ibalz Marketing & Signs, and Jeff Smith Ford; hole sponsors include, SunMark Bank, hospitality sponsor, Houston Lake Country Club, and McLemore, Middlebrooks & Co., LLC., round out support.
