Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) recently announced its four student finalists for the 2026 Georgia Occupational Award for Leadership (GOAL) program. These outstanding students have been recognized for their academic excellence, leadership qualities, and dedication to their fields of study.
The 2026 CGTC GOAL Finalists are:
Meredith Salmon, Orthopedic Technology
Kimberly Giddens, Welding and Joining Technology
Larry Howard, General Studies, Healthcare Professional Pathway
Anna Walters, Physical Therapy Assistant
Sharelle Pangilinan, Radiologic Technology

CGTC Academy Student Receives Governor’s Honor as Top High School Talent in the State

Warner Robins, Ga. — Georgia Governor Brian Kemp recently named Will Vinson as one of the state’s most talented high school students, recognizing him as the Dual Achievement Program (DAP) Student of the Year during the 2025 Governor’s Workforce Summit Awards in Atlanta.

CGTC Student Kaleb Brown Wins 1st Place in Computer Programming at SkillsUSA National Competition

CGTC Student Leaders Shine at Joint State Leadership Conference in Atlanta

Warner Robins, Ga. – This Spring, student leaders from across Georgia gathered in Atlanta for the Joint State Leadership Conference, hosted in collaboration by the Georgia Student Government Association (GSGA), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), among the top competitors were Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) students.
