In 2019, Central Georgia Technical College relocated all aviation and aircraft maintenance programs to the Aerospace Training and Sustainment Center (ATSC) near the Middle Georgia Regional Airport. A joint effort between the College, Robins Air Force Base and the Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority, this complex is a first of it’s kind to combine higher education and training and real-world workplace operations in one facility.

ATSC 1, on Avondale Mill Road, is a former aviation manufacturing facility and offers space for CGTC training programs as well as additional industrial workspace for the 402d CMXG (Commodities Maintenance Group) at Robins Air Force Base. Student schedules will list classes at this facility as ATC for the campus, and room number BOEING-XXX.

ATSC 2, located inside airport property on East Drive, is the former Yulista facility where CGTC students focus on Aviation Maintenance hands-on learning lab courses. Student schedules will list classes at this facility as ATC for the campus with no room number as this facility is a single large hangar.
