Warner Robins, Ga. — The Health Sciences Division is looking for volunteers of all ages to participate in the CGTC Mass Casualty Functional Exercise on April 19, 2025, at the Warner Robins Campus.
This large-scale training event will help law enforcement, EMS, fire personnel, CGTC Health Sciences and Trinity medical students enhance their emergency response skills in a realistic but controlled environment.
Volunteer Roles Include:
Victim/Role Player – Assist with event coordination and participant needs.
✅ Fans & Spectators – Help create a realistic game-day atmosphere.
✅ Injured Victims (Moulage Available) – Simulated wounds will be applied for those comfortable with medical roleplay.
✅ Bystanders & Family Members – Assist in portraying different crowd responses.
Day-of Event Support – Assist with event coordination and participant needs.
✅ Moulage Makeup Artists (MUA) – Apply realistic injury makeup to simulated victims.
✅ Scene Setup & Logistics – Help prepare the training environment before the exercise.
✅ Check-in & Check-out Team – Assist in signing in volunteers and tracking participants.
Important Considerations:
Young Volunteers (Ages 7-13): May be assigned as spectators or non-injured participants to ensure an age-appropriate experience.
Teen & Adult Volunteers (Ages 14+): May participate in more immersive roles, including moulaged injuries (optional).
Sensitive Content Alert: The scenario involves emergency response to a mass casualty event, and moulage will realistically depict injuries. Parents/guardians should consider whether this is suitable for younger volunteers.
