Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) bids a heartfelt farewell to Mrs. Brenda Brown, Vice President for Adult Education, who is retiring this December after an illustrious 32-year career at the College.
Over three decades, Mrs. Brown has shaped adult education and literacy efforts in Central Georgia earning recognition as a compassionate educator, relentless advocate, and inspiring leader.

Central Georgia Technical College Announces 2025 GOAL Finalists

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) has named its four student finalists for the 2025 Georgia Occupational Award for Leadership (GOAL) program. These outstanding students were selected for their academic achievements and leadership potential in their respective fields.

Five Central Georgia Technical College Instructors Named Semi-Finalists for 2025 Rick Perkins Award for Excellence in Technical Instruction

Georgia VECTR Center Enrolling for New Skillbridge and Accelerated Training Programs for Veterans and Spouses.

Warner Robins, Ga. – The Georgia Veterans Education Career Transition Resource (VECTR) Center recently announced the upcoming edition of accelerated programming and training for veterans and their families.
The VECTR Center is enrolling for the Logistics Management Specialist program beginning January 2025, Electronics Technology in February 2025, and for the first time, a health program, Orthopedic Technology is making the list of available coursework, beginning February 2025.

CGTC Director of Nursing, Jessica Willcox, Named to Georgia Board of Nursing 

Atlanta, Ga. – Georgia Governor Brian Kemp recently appointed Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC), director of Nursing, Jessica Lupo Willcox, as member to the Georgia Board of Nursing (GBON).

Central Georgia Technical College Receives Bloomberg Philanthropies Gift to Support Georgia’s VECTR Center

Warner Robins, Ga.—Georgia’s Veterans Education Career Transition Resource (VECTR) Center has received a $100,000 grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies.  Bloomberg Philanthropies works in 480 cities in more than 120 countries around the world to ensure better, longer lives for the greatest number of people. The organization, which encompasses all of Michael R. Bloomberg’s charitable activities, focuses on five key areas: Arts, Education, Environment, Government Innovation, and Public Health.
