CGTC Becomes the First College Campus in Central Georgia to Open a Disc Golf Course 

Warner Robins, Ga. – A new campus life activity launched this spring as Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) and the Houston County Disc Golf Club (HCDGC) partnered to bring an 18-hole competition-level disc golf course to its Warner Robins campus.

Central Georgia Technical College Instructor and Proud Putnam County Resident Takes the Top Honor
Atlanta, Ga.- The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) announced the state’s top instructor for 2024.Sharoko Farley, a Commercial Truck Driving instructor from Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC), was chosen as the winner of this year’s Rick Perkins Award for Excellence in Technical Instruction.

CGTC Dual Enrollment Students Form Part of MidSouth Community FCU Student-Run Branch

Warner Robins, Ga. – Last week the Bibb County School District (BCSD) and MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union (MCFCU) held a ribbon cutting for the opening of MCFCU’s student-run branch at the William H. Hutchings College and Career Academy (HCCA), whose part-time student-employees feature three Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) dual enrollment students.
To celebrate the opening, the credit union held a Community Day on Saturday, February 3, 2018 featuring a CGTC Athletics Ticket Giveaway at the career academy located at 1780 Anthony Road in Macon. Read More
