In this unique seminar, we compare and contrast two well-known leadership theories and discuss how these theories can be applied, independently and in combination, in diverse workplace circumstances.
Servant leadership is a business philosophy that emphasizes that a leader (be it a manager or supervisor)
focuses on the growth and development of their employees and promotes employee success.
Situational leadership theory (also known as the Hersey-Blanchard Situational Leadership Theory, after the
authors, Dr. Paul Hersey and Kenneth Blanchard) suggests that no single leadership style is best.
The seminar will further discuss:
Are the theories mutually exclusive or complementary?
What are the practical applications in the seminar participants workplaces?
What challenges do the participants feel they will face as they apply these theories?
