CGTC Athletic Programs and Student-Athletes Earn NJCAA Academic Honors

Macon, GA – The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) recently announced the 2020-21 Academic Teams of the Year. Despite circumstances due to COVID-19, NJCAA student-athletes flourished in the classroom as 820 teams earned at least a 3.0 GPA or better.
For the second-consecutive year, the CGTC women’s basketball program has been recognized as an NJCAA Academic Team of the Year. The Lady Titans earned a 3.55 GPA for the 2020-21 academic year, the ninth-highest GPA in the NJCAA for women’s basketball. Read More

Central Georgia Technical College Announces Spring Semester 2018 President’s Honor Roll

Warner Robins, Ga. – Dr. Ivan Allen, president of Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC), announced recently students named to the Central Georgia Technical College President’s Honor Roll for Spring Semester 2018.
To qualify, students must be in Academic Good Standing, earn a semester-based grade point average of 4.0 with an earned course load of at least 12 credit hours for the semester, and a work ethics grade of “2” or higher for each course completed.

CGTC Office of Global Initiatives Cements Collaboration with University in United Kingdom

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College’s (CGTC) Office of Global Initiatives recently signed three Course Level Agreements (CLA) with York St. John University (YSJU), which will solidify the transition of its two-year curriculum to the four-year institution in York, United Kingdom.

CGTC Engineering Technology Students Visit Fort Valley State University

Warner Robins, Ga. – Students in Central Georgia Technical College’s (CGTC) Engineering Technology program recently visited Fort Valley State University (FVSU) to explore avenues for post-graduate study.
The trip included information on job placement, participant testimonials, and demonstrations from current FVSU students on recently completed projects.
The students that participated in the trip to FVSU are a part of the pilot program offered to Engineering Technology students through the ProActive Student Success (PASS) program.
