SABRINA SWANN | Business & Computer Technologies Dean
Dr. Swann has a BS in Accounting and Data Processing from Fort Valley State University, Master of Public Administration for Georgia College and State University, Educational Specialist in Business Education from Troy State University, and Doctorate in Education Leadership from Valdosta State University. She has over 20 years of Secondary and Postsecondary teaching experience and over ten years in program and administrative leadership for the college as Program Chair for Business Technology and Division Chair for Business and Computer Technology. Dr. Swann presently serves as Dean for Business and Computer Technologies. In addition, she has a Microsoft Office Specialist Certification and T6 State of Georgia Teacher Certification.
CYNTHIA COOPER | Computer Programs, Division Chair
Cynthia Cooper is the Computer Technologies Department Chair and Computer Skills/Business Technology Instructor at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC). Since the start of 1996, Ms. Cooper has acquired over 25 years of experience working with adults in the field of education and training. Ms. Cooper worked as a Program Specialist for the University of Georgia School of Social Work (SSW) Training Project in providing training and development to Georgia Department of Human Resources employees on using mandated database system as it relates to federal/state policies.
Upon transitioning from the training environment, Ms. Cooper began providing technical education as an adjunct instructor both at Oconee Fall Line Technical College and Middle Georgia teaching Microsoft Office applications prior to obtaining full-time employment at CGTC in 2014. In addition to providing learning opportunities to her students, she served over five years as a Computer Skills (COMP 1000) Program Chair.
Ms. Cooper graduated from Georgia College State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management/Marketing and completed a Master of Art in Education Technology at Ashford University. She holds professional certification as a Master Trainer from Langevin Learning Services and several Microsoft Office certifications in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
JACQUELINE FARMS | Computer Information Systems, Program Chair
Jacqueline Farms is a Cyber Security and Networking Instructor at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC). Ms. Farms received her Master of Science degree from Capella University in Information Technology, with a specialization in Information Security and a Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Georgia State University in Information Technology, with a specialization in Networking and Communications. She has supplemented her education with many training seminars and currently holds a CompTIA Security+ certification. She is also an AWS Academy Cloud Foundations Graduate. Ms. Farms is the Cybersecurity Club Advisor at CGTC. Prior to teaching at CGTC, Ms. Farms was the Networking Program Director at Virginia College. She also served 23 years in the US Air Force as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer.
RYAN ASHFORD | Computer Information Systems, Instructor
Ryan Ashford is a full time Computer Information Technology Instructor at CGTC. His teaches the Dual Enrollment Cybersecurity certificate courses at the Houston County Career Academy as well as general CIST courses on the Macon campus.
Mr. Ashford has a BS in Information Technology and a MS of Information Technology from Middle Georgia State University. He has supplemented his education with various community service projects, including the Warner Robins Optimist and Rotary organizations, and by co-founding the Middle Georgia Museum of Technology hosted at Middle Georgia State University. Prior to serving at CGTC, Mr. Ashford taught information technology as an adjunct at Middle Georgia State University, and continues to advise agents of the Warner Robins Geek Squad regarding back end computer repairs and diagnostics. Mr. Ashford also continues his work with the Middle Georgia Museum of Technology, hosting monthly seminars and engaging with local and state communities in the fields of data archival and technological preservation.
FELICIA EVERIDGE | Computer Information Systems, Instructor
Felicia Everidge is a full time Computer Information Technology Instructor at Central Georgia Technical College. Her focus in in the Networking and Cybersecurity areas. She has been a Cisco Networking Academy Instructor for 25 years and has earned the award of Instructor Excellence Expert for 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021. Along with the Cisco networking courses, she teaches three of the Cybersecurity courses: Network Security, Network Defense and Countermeasures, and Ethical Hacking and Pen Testing. She takes students on campus field trips and performs hands-on labs and creates scenarios for students whenever possible to aid in their learning and understanding.
Over the course of her educational career, she has served as the AITP (Association of Information Technology Professionals) Club Advisor as well as the CIST Internship Program Advisor. Mrs. Everidge has a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Southwestern State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a concentration in Management Information Systems, from the University of Georgia. She has held the CNE and CCNA certifications and is currently a CCAI for the Cisco Networking Academy and has the CompTIA Security+ certification.
MATTHEW KEYES | Adjunct Instructor
Matthew Keyes is an Adjunct Professor at Central Georgia Technical College, where he has been teaching Cybersecurity since January of 2023. He also serves as the Director of Network Operations at Georgia Military College. With a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from Georgia College & State University, Matthew specializes in IT systems management and cybersecurity.
In his role at Central Georgia Technical College, Matthew teaches foundational cybersecurity courses, drawing on his extensive experience in network operations and IT infrastructure. He is dedicated to providing students with practical insights and real-world applications in cybersecurity.
Matthew’s career spans over a decade of IT experience, including significant roles in enterprise systems administration and project management. His expertise includes managing cloud systems, implementing security measures, and leading major IT projects. He currently holds a CompTIA Security+ certification.
CHANEL SIMMONS | Adjunct Instructor
Chanel Simmons is a Cyber Security Adjunct Instructor at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) and a Dual Enrollment Cyber Security Pathway Instructor at Hutchings College & Career Academy (HCCA). Ms. Simmons received her Master of Science degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management from Middle Georgia State University. In addition, she also holds a Certificate in Technical Writing from the continuing education sector of The University of Georgia.
Ms. Simmons also serves as the lead advisor of the Technology Student Association at HCCA. Prior to teaching, Ms. Simmons worked as a lead Underwriting Analyst at GEICO and lead Instructional Designer for a local technology company.
EYRIC WILLIAMS | Adjunct Instructor
Eyric Williams is an Adjunct instructor teaching A+ certification and Cybersecurity classes since January 2024. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as he is an Investigator with the Warner Robins Police Department. Investigator Williams is a certified peace officer with over 16-years of law enforcement experience. Currently, he works in the Forensic Laboratory within the Warner Robins Police Department where he serves as the Digital Forensic Investigator, Section Supervisor and a Crime Scene Investigator. Investigator Williams also performs IT duties which include: System Administration, Server Administration, and Firewall Administration.
Currently, Investigator Williams is a doctoral student at Middle Georgia State University. He holds a Master’s of Science in Information Technology with a concentration in Cybersecurity/Forensics, a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice, and an Associate’s of Science in Criminal Justice. Among numerous professional certifications, Williams holds certifications in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Networking+, CompTIA Security+, Cellebrite CCO, Cellebrite CCPA, Cellebrite CASA, and Cellebrite CBE.
