CGTC Now Enrolling for New Sustainable Farming Certificate to Begin January 2021

Milledgeville Exchange Club Funds New Scholarship at CGTC

Milledgeville, Ga. – A new scholarship for students in Baldwin County is now available as the Milledgeville Exchange Club presented the Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Foundation last week with a $500 check for the award of two scholarships.

CGTC Cosmetology to Host Fundraiser for Veterans

Milledgeville, Ga. – The Cosmetology program at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) will host a Fall Fundraiser on the College’s Milledgeville campus Saturday, September 16, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the H-Building. All Proceeds from the event benefit the Georgia War Veteran’s Home in Milledgeville.
Fundraising for local charities occurs annually for the Cosmetology program. Last year’s super-hero themed fundraiser benefiting pediatric cancer helped the program reach over $20,000 in the six years it has raised funds. Read More

CGTC Hemodialysis Student Targets Archery Gold at 2017 NatWest Island Games

Milledgeville, Ga. – Tiffany Slaton, a first-year student at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC), will put-off her start in the Hemodialysis Technology program to compete in archery competitions at the 2017 NatWest Island Games, June 24-30 in Gotland, Sweden, representing Bermuda as one of 24 island nations present.Slaton, who attends classes on the Milledgeville campus, received the invitation to compete in the games from the Bermuda Archery Association the day before she found out she had been accepted into the competitive Hemodialysis Technology program at CGTC.
