Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) recently named, Deryk Stoops, an Automation Technology instructor in the Aerospace, Trade, and Industry Division as its 2026 Rick Perkins Award for Excellence in Technical Instruction Winner.

TCSG Fall Leadership Conference Recognizes CGTC Instructor of the Year, Foundation, Alumni, and Key Leaders

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) leaders and programs received statewide honors at the Technical College System of Georgia’s (TCSG) Fall Leadership Conference in October, highlighting excellence in instruction, leadership development, alumni achievement, and philanthropic support.

Dr. Brittany Lucas, vice president of Adult Education and Reentry Services, graduated from the Senior Leadership Academy (SLA). CGTC Instructor Earns Post-Secondary Teacher of the Year Honors

Macon, Ga. –  More than 20 years of work in graphic design helped Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) and Hutchings College and Career Academy (HCCA) instructor, Paige Welch, transition into a teaching career, but it was innumerable conversations with mentors that helped her get her stride.
