Warner Robins, Ga. – A group of leadership and health sciences faculty from Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) recently visited St. Vincent and the Grenadines to explore service-learning study abroad opportunities for health sciences students in partnership with Trinity School of Medicine.

Sonia Wynne Named 2022 CGTC RPA Instructor of the Year

Warner Robins, Ga. – Hemodialysis instructor and program chair, Sonia Wynne was recently named Central Georgia Technical College’s (CGTC) Rick Perkins Award (RPA) Winner for Excellence in Technical Instruction for 2022.
Sonia Wynne has been a dialysis nurse for 30 years. She earned her LPN at Wharton County Junior College in Wharton, Texas and her registered nursing degree at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, GA.
Wynne began working at the College in 2004 and developed its Hemodialysis program which was the first of its kind in the state of Georgia. Read More

New agreement between CGTC and GSW smooths transition for Information Technology students

Warner Robins, GA – Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) and Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) are partnering to provide new educational opportunities to students in an essential career field in today’s workforce. Mary Walker of Houston County Named CGTC Rick Perkins Award Winner as Instructor of the Year

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) recently announced its 2021 Rick Perkins Award for Excellence (RPA) winner, the College’s Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program director, Mary Walker of Houston County.
Walker became program director in September 2016 to help develop the PTA program on the College’s Warner Robins campus. In November 2018, the College announced the Health Sciences Division’s newest and most-state-of-the-art program, an associate of an applied science degree program in a specialized and high-demand health career. CGTC Announces Rick Perkins Award Winner and Adjunct Instructor of the Year

Warner Robins, Ga. – The Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) 2019 Rick Perkins Award for Excellence winner, Dr. Devona Bell, and Adjunct Instructor of the Year, Anita Ross, share a unique bond; Ross taught Bell in her ninth grade science class.
