Warner Robins, Ga – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) is one of 34 U.S. colleges and universities in 28 U.S. states to be awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of State’s Increase and Diversify Education Abroad for U.S. Students (IDEAS) Program, which aims to develop and expand study abroad programs around the world. Health Sciences Study Abroad Coming Soon as CGTC and Trinity School of Medicine Assess Healthcare Needs in St. Vincent and the Grenadines

Warner Robins, Ga. – A group of leadership and health sciences faculty from Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) recently visited St. Vincent and the Grenadines to explore service-learning study abroad opportunities for health sciences students in partnership with Trinity School of Medicine.

Dual Enrollment Study Abroad Program at CGTC Returns to Ireland

Warner Robins, Ga. – Eleven students at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) made their journey to Ireland this June, officially bringing back Georgia’s only dual enrollment study abroad program.
Partnering with the Institute of Study Abroad Ireland (ISAI), CGTC and its Office of Global Initiatives has been planning the 2022 trip since 2020, monitoring travel guidance from the state department in response to the global pandemic.
In 2019, CGTC’s Ireland Dual Enrollment Study Abroad program sent students from its 11-county service area on its inaugural trip and made plans for annual ones. Read More
