Warner Robins, GA –Recent approval by the Technical College System of Georgia for Central Georgia Technical College to offer four new Associate of Science degrees means students have new two-year degree options to enter the workforce or transfer. “CGTC expanding their associate degrees is going to be an amazing opportunity for students,” said Brooklyn McDowell, CGTC’s 2024 GOAL winner. “This new opportunity will enable students to elevate their career and go so much further with their goals.”
CGTC’s four new Associate of Science degree programs include pathways in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, and Education. The Associate of Science degrees provide greater ease of transfer to senior institutions with similar programs.
“New associate degree programs allow our students to access careers in high-demand industries regionally, and access new pathways to continue their education into four-year programs,” said DeAnn Nester, CGTC’s Vice President for Academic Affairs.
