Cybersecurity Workshop Coming to CGTC

Warner Robins, Ga. – The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) will host a cybersecurity workshop on the Warner Robins campus of Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) on August 30, 2017, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The workshop, entitled Cybersecurity Challenges: Protecting the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Systems and Information, will focus on topics including efforts to improve cybersecurity, policy overview, the industry’s role, and career fields within the industry.

CGTC’s 8th Annual Race for Education set to Offer New Obstacles

Warner Robins, Ga. – The Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Foundation’s 8th Annual Race for Education 5K will add a new challenge to its race day events on September 9, 2017 at the Warner Robins campus located at 80 Cohen Walker Drive. CGTC Instructor and GDC’s Vocational Teacher of the Year Finalist Teaches from the Inside, Out

Hawkinsville, Ga. – Woodrow Whipple, a Design and Media Production adjunct instructor for Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) has been named a finalist for the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) Vocational Teacher of the Year, an honor he credits to his students on the inside of Pulaski State Prison.
