Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) will be graduating a set of Paramedicine students from its Macon, Putnam and Warner Robins Campus in December.

CGTC Names Finalists for the GOAL Program 

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) recently announced its five students for the 2024 Georgia Occupational Award for Leadership (GOAL) Program.  
Ashanti Brown, Welding and Joining Technology, Emma Hughes, Welding and Joining Technology, Toler Thompson, Registered Nursing, David Watts, Aviation Maintenance and Courtney Yoder, Registered Nursing were selected amongst their peers to continue in the competition.

CGTC Putnam Center Welcomes Back CDL Program

Eatonton, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College’s (CGTC) is scheduled to have the Commercial Truck Driving (CDL) program at the Putnam Center in January, with a first week of online instruction starting in December.
The six-week program starts with the first week of online instruction December 4-12, 2023. The driving portion of the class will begin January 9 and will end Feb. 12, 2024, at the Putnam Center. Classes are held Monday-Friday 8:00 am-2:45 pm.

Cybersecurity at CGTC Designated as National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense

Warner Robins, Ga. – The Cybersecurity program at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) has been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) through 2028.
The CAE-CD designation is recognized by the National Security Agency (NSA) and indicates that the College is helping reduce threats to our national infrastructure by promoting higher education and research in cyber defense as well as providing the nation with a pipeline of qualified cybersecurity professionals.

Georgia Tech Grad Students Bring Virtual Reality to CGTC Advanced Manufacturing Labs

CGTC Men’s Basketball Coach Reco Dawson Named GCAA Coach of the Year

 
Macon, Ga – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) men’s basketball head coach, Reco Dawson, was recently named the 2019-2020 Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) Division I Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year.
