CGTC Announces Upcoming Macon Campus Renovation Project and Safety Reminders

Macon, Ga. — Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) is preparing for a major renovation project at the Macon Campus that will include improvements to Buildings C, D, E, F, G, and portions of Building B. After months of planning and collaboration, construction activities went underway this month, marking the start of a significant project designed to enhance campus facilities and improve the learning environment for students, employees, and visitors.

Warner Robins, Ga. – Amanda Cobb, MSRS, RT(R)(M), Program Chair for Radiologic Technology at Central Georgia Technical College, was among a select group of educators from across the United States chosen to participate in the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Educator Institute, held in the month of April at ASRT headquarters in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

CGTC is Rolling Out a New AI Certificate

The college is rolling out a new AI certificate this fall semester.

CGTC Women’s Basketball Named to 2025-2026 Academic Teams for NJCAA as Top in Academics Among All Women’s Basketball Programs Nationwide

Warner Robins, Ga. – On Wednesday, the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) announced its National Academic Teams for 2025-2026 and Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) 2025-2026 Titans’ Women’s Basketball Team earned the top spot for Women’s Basketball nationally.The NJCAA Academic All-American Team honor comes as a result of the team’s 3.87 GPA. The 3.87 is the highest GPA nationwide among NJCAA Women’s Basketball programs for 2025-2026. It is 3rdhighest GPA among all sports.

The President’s Honor Roll recognizes full-time students with a semester-based grade point average of 4.0 with an earned course load of at least 12 credit hours for the semester, with a work ethics grade of “2” or higher for each course in which a work ethics grade is assigned. Speir Employee Earns GED Through Central Georgia Technical College Adult Education Program, Advances Career with Apprenticeship
