Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) has earned a Military Times Best for Vets distinction as the No. 6 ranked Career & Technical School and No. 12 ranked Two Year School In the publication’s annual ranking.
Military Times Best for Vets: Colleges is the largest and most comprehensive rankings of schools for military service members and veterans, helping them make important decisions about their education.
CGTC is honored to be recognized for its commitment to veterans and their impact in meeting the workforce demands of the region.
The designation by Military Times touts CGTC’s accessibility, convenience, affordability and instructor care as key strengths to its ranking.
CGTC operates the Georgia Veterans Education Transition Resource (VECTR) Center located at 1001 Armed Forces Blvd. The VECTR Center serves veterans, active duty military personnel, and their families transition from service to civilian by offering unique, accelerated programs in high demand and strategic industries.
The Center also connects veterans to on-site partners including, the Georgia Department of Veterans Service, Georgia Department of Labor, Department of Veterans Affairs, and United Way/Mission United as a one-stop-shop for veterans seeking benefits, educational opportunities, employment services and links to community resources.
