CGTC Foundation Receives Large Gifts from Health Partners for New Wellness Facility 

Macon, GA – Atrium Health Navicent and Houston Healthcare are partnering with the Central Georgia Technical College Foundation and Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) by providing combined gifts of $1.2 million in support of a new health and wellness facility at CGTC’s campus in Warner Robins. CGTC’s Child Development Center in Warner Robins Reaffirms NAEYC Accreditation with Outstanding Program Score 

Warner Robins, Ga., – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Child Development Center (CDC) in Warner Robins has successfully reaffirmed its accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).  
The center achieved an exceptional program score of over 95%, reflecting its commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and care.

Radiologic Technology Student Appointed President of State Student Government Association, a CGTC First

Macon, Ga. – Roshon Jackson, a Radiologic Technology student at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) was recently named the president of the Georgia Student Government Association (GSGA) at the Technical College System of Georgia’s (TCSG) State Officer Training & Planning Committee Retreat at Unicoi State Park in June.

Macon Child Development Center at CGTC is Now Enrolling for Fall, Space is Available for the Public

Macon, Ga- Ahead of anticipated growth, expansion, and innovation for the Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Child Development Center (CDC) on its Macon campus, the center is now enrolling for fall care beginning August 2 and inviting students, faculty, and the community-at-large to apply for childcare.

CGTC and Middle Georgia State University Hope to Address Teacher Shortages Thanks to Expanded Articulation Agreement for Students Interested in Education 

Warner Robins, Ga. –   Three new Education courses at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) will now transfer into Middle Georgia State University’s (MGA) bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education, easing transition into higher education for students entering a vital workforce.   Beginning in the fall semester, CGTC students can register for EDUC 2110, 2120, and 2130 and upon completion of the General Studies Associate of Science degree, apply those credits toward Area F requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Education Degree at MGA.
