Warner Robins, GA – The Central Georgia Technical College Academy has been awarded high school accreditation from COGNIA, the high school accrediting agency in the state of Georgia. This makes the CGTC Academy the first high school program within the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) to earn the accreditation.  
 
The CGTC Academy offers two pathways to a traditional high school diploma. The Career Plus High School (CPH) Equivalency pathway offers high school coursework for students over the age of 21. Read More

Warner Robins, GA – Beginning fall 2022, Central Georgia Technical College  (CGTC) will join the National Club Football Association (NCFA), officially adding club football. The College is also adding cheer and club soccer to its campus activities.

Warner Robins, GA – Central Georgia Technical College will host girls from Bibb County School District’s MAGIC (Mentoring a Girl in Construction) Camp to introduce the group to the welding industry. The campers will visit the welding lab on the Macon campus on Thursday, June 9th from 9am to 11:30am.

The yearly camp hosts a variety of demonstrations and hands on learning for participants in the construction and electrical fields. The goal is to showcase career pathways in commonly male dominated industries. Read More

Phoenix — University of Phoenix announces a new academic agreement with Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) that supports building nursing career pathways from community college courses to higher degrees at the University. The agreement allows Central Georgia Technical College students to take advantage of transfer pathways as well as concurrent enrollment for the RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.

Donation to the Technical College System of Georgia Foundation to benefit the Commercial Truck Driving Program, locally at Central Georgia Technical College

ATLANTA, GA– The Coca-Cola Company today announced a $1 million donation to the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) Foundation for its system’s Commercial Truck Driving Program. The Coca-Cola Company also announced “Delivering the Future: The Coca-Cola System & Technical College System of Georgia Truck Tour” to raise awareness of TCSG’s Commercial Truck Driving Program and career opportunities with local bottler Coca-Cola UNITED.
