Radiologic Technology Student Appointed President of State Student Government Association, a CGTC First

Macon, Ga. – Roshon Jackson, a Radiologic Technology student at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) was recently named the president of the Georgia Student Government Association (GSGA) at the Technical College System of Georgia’s (TCSG) State Officer Training & Planning Committee Retreat at Unicoi State Park in June.  

He is currently attending clinical rotations at Piedmont Macon Medical Center in Macon. Jackson takes on this new role, while also serving as class president for his Radiologic Technology and a local member of the Student Government Association (SGA) at CGTC where he serves as vice president-student officer.  Read More

CGTC’s Radiologic Technology Students Earn 100 Percent Certification Exam Pass Rate

Warner Robins, Ga. – The Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Warner Robins Radiologic Technology program graduating class of 2019 achieved 100% pass rate on the radiography certification exam administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist earlier this summer.

Radiologic Technology Students Return from Conference with New Knowledge and a First Place Award

Warner Robins, Ga. – Students and faculty from the Radiologic Technology program at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) recently returned from a radiology education conference where they saw one student capture first place in an academic knowledge competition.

Radiologic Technology Students Earn Perfect Pass Rate Once Again

Warner Robins, Ga. –  For the second consecutive year, students in the Radiologic Technology program on the Warner Robins campus of Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) earned a 100 percent pass rate for national certification.
Thirteen graduates are now registered technologists in Radiography after passing the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification Examination. The ARRT is the largest credentialing organization that seeks to ensure high-quality patient care in radiologic technology.
