Central Georgia Technical College Signs First Articulation Agreement with Gordon State College

Macon, Ga. –  Central Georgia Technical College signed an articulation agreement with Gordon State College (GSC) this week for the transfer of credit from the College’s newest General Studies associate degree into four-year bachelor degree programs at GSC, on campus or online.

Jones Family Foundation Awards Central Georgia Technical College Workforce Development Grant

Macon, Ga.—The Charles H. Jones Family Foundation is investing in high-quality, technical training and equipment at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) by awarding a workforce development grant of $250,000. This gift will support local employer and workforce needs in high-demand career training programs.
In April, state and local leaders and Robins Air Force Base (RAFB) officials joined CGTC in announcing the relocation of aerospace training programs and a portion of the RAFB commodities workload to the former Boeing facility at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport in Macon. Read More

Technical College System of Georgia to Raise Tuition Rate

Warner Robins, Ga. – The Technical College System of Georgia’s (TCSG) State Board recently approved an $11 increase in the tuition rate for all 22 of Georgia’s technical colleges. The tuition increase will go into effect beginning in the fall 2019 semester.
Since its last tuition increase in 2014, the tuition rate at TCSG colleges has remained at $89 per credit hour. After careful consideration, TCSG decided to increase the amount to $100 per credit hour. Read More

Georgia High School Students Prep for CGTC’s Inaugural Dual Enrollment Study Abroad Trip to Ireland

Warner Robins, Ga. – In just one year Central Georgia Technical College’s (CGTC) Office of Global Initiatives (OGI) has pulled together the unthinkable; plan, price and promote a first-of-its-kind dual enrollment study abroad trip for the entire Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG).
