Central Georgia Technical College Foundation Receives Bloomberg Philanthropies Grant to Establish Regional Healthcare High School

Warner Robins, Ga – The Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Foundation announced today that it has received a planning grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies to support the establishment of a regional STEM/Healthcare High School in Houston County. The planning will be undertaken through a partnership between the Houston County School District (HCSD), Houston Healthcare (HHC), and Central Georgia Technical College and is aimed at establishing career-connected learning opportunities to strengthen central Georgia’s healthcare workforce.

New Pathway to LPN Licensure for Military Medical Personnel Approved at CGTC

Mark Scott Appointed Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Central Georgia Technical College

After serving as Superintendent of Schools for the Houston County School District since 2014, Dr. Scott brings a wealth of experience in educational leadership and strategic planning to CGTC. CGTC Students and Staff Take Part in Spring Break Volunteer Experience Abroad

Warner Robins, Ga. – A handful of Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) students and staff took part in volunteer projects over Spring Break at Orphanage Emmanuel in Guaimaca, Honduras.
