Manse Jennings of SunMark Bank Hawkinsville Named to CGTC Board of Directors

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College’s (CGTC) Board of Directors recently welcomed its newest member, Manse Jennings, of Hawkinsville, Ga.
Jennings, chairman of SunMark Community Bank, joins the Board with an established reputation in Hawkinsville, the service area his position represents.
During the early 80s, following graduation from Georgia Southern with a Bachelor’s of Science in Physics, Jennings began work with his family’s business, Hawkinsville Telephone Company, and propelled his career into the next pair of decades in telecommunications and networking. Read More

Peach County High School Students Receive Scholarships from SunMark to Study at CGTC

Fort Valley, Ga. – Four Peach County High School students enrolled in Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) for the fall 2019 semester will head into their studies with scholarships from the Fort Valley branch of SunMark Community Bank.

Georgia Southwestern and CGTC Sign Two Articulation Agreements for General Studies and Healthcare

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) signed two new articulation agreements with Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) recently on the College’s Warner Robins campus. Peyton Anderson Foundation Awards Workforce Training Grant to CGTC

Macon, Ga. – The Peyton Anderson Foundation recently announced an award of $630,000 to Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) to support local employer and workforce needs in high-demand career training programs. This grant, which will be distributed over a four year period, will specifically support the expansion of CGTC’s Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) and Aircraft Structural Technology (AST) programs.

CGTC Offering Evening Adult Welding Courses Inside Baldwin High School

Milledgeville, Ga. – When the semester begins on August 13 at Central Georgia Technical College’s (CGTC) Milledgeville campus, welding students will not be on campus. CGTC Increases Tuition-Free Programs to 136 with New Hope Career Grant Additions

This accounts for the total number of programs now eligible under the HOPE Career Grant, funding that allows qualified students to attend tuition-free.

Central Georgia Technical College Signs First Articulation Agreement with Gordon State College
