Warner Robins, Ga. – The Lofts at Houston Central, recently announced to the Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) student body that they are now accepting student inquiries for its housing development on Sutherlin Drive adjacent to the Warner Robins Campus.

Dual Enrollment Study Abroad Program at CGTC Returns to Ireland

Warner Robins, Ga. – Eleven students at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) made their journey to Ireland this June, officially bringing back Georgia’s only dual enrollment study abroad program.
Partnering with the Institute of Study Abroad Ireland (ISAI), CGTC and its Office of Global Initiatives has been planning the 2022 trip since 2020, monitoring travel guidance from the state department in response to the global pandemic.
In 2019, CGTC’s Ireland Dual Enrollment Study Abroad program sent students from its 11-county service area on its inaugural trip and made plans for annual ones. Read More

CGTC Commencement Ceremony Returns to Macon Centreplex May 6th

Macon, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) is pleased to announce the return of its annual commencement ceremony to the Macon Centreplex on Friday, May 6 at 11 a.m.
As the College once again prepares to honor the accomplishments of graduates, attendees are asked to be aware of the time change. CGTC Foundation Receives $200,000 Anonymous Gift  

 
Warner Robins, GA – The Central Georgia Technical College Foundation has received a $200,000 donation from an anonymous donor in support of student scholarships. At the donor’s request, the funds will be used for qualifying students participating in re-entry services, veterans’ services, and adult education.

State Rick Perkins Award Winner Announcement Coming May 25, CGTC’s Mary Walker Among Finalists

Warner Robins, Ga. – In a month that included CGTC’s announcement of a return to in-person graduation, pinning ceremonies, and the regular, fast-paced end of the semester,  the College community also found out this May that one of its most outstanding instructors was named a finalist for the Technical College System of Georgia’s (TCSG) State Rick Perkins Award (RPA).

Rachel Brown of Monroe County is Chosen as CGTC’s GOAL Winner

Macon, Ga. – Rachel Brown, a Dental Hygiene student at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC), from Jackson, has been named as the College’s winner of the Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL).
