New Agreement To Ease Student Transfers Between CGTC And MGA

Thanks to a new formal agreement, Central Georgia Technical College students who complete that institution’s Associate of Science in General Studies can now more easily transfer into a bachelor’s degree program at Middle Georgia State University.
Leaders at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) and Middle Georgia State (MGA) signed an articulation agreement on Thursday, Oct. 24, which provides graduates of that specific program a clear pathway to a four-year degree. CGTC’s Radiologic Technology Students Earn 100 Percent Certification Exam Pass Rate

Warner Robins, Ga. – The Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Warner Robins Radiologic Technology program graduating class of 2019 achieved 100% pass rate on the radiography certification exam administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist earlier this summer.

CGTC Offering Evening Adult Welding Courses Inside Baldwin High School

Milledgeville, Ga. – When the semester begins on August 13 at Central Georgia Technical College’s (CGTC) Milledgeville campus, welding students will not be on campus. That is because Baldwin County High School is providing welding lab space for the College to offer evening Welding courses for credit.

Heather Williamson of CGTC Given Technical College System of Georgia’s Top Honor

Warner Robins, Ga. – The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) announced the state’s top technical college student this week at its 48th annual Georgia Occupational Award for Leadership (GOAL) Conference in Atlanta, giving Central Georgia Technical College’s (CGTC) Heather Williamson the honor.

Central Georgia Technical College Announces Summer Semester 2018 President’s Honor Roll

Warner Robins, Ga. – Dr. Ivan Allen, president of Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC), announced recently that the following area students were named to the Central Georgia Technical College President’s Honor Roll for Summer Semester 2018.

Student Barber Competes at SkillsUSA Competition as CGTC’s First Representative

Macon, Ga. – In less than a month, Lyncetta Coleman will be one of many Barbering program students to walk across the stage at graduation, but in March, she was the first program student to test her abilities at the SkillsUSA Georgia barbering competition for Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC).
