Central Georgia Technical College Announces Spring Semester 2021 President’s Honor Roll

Warner Robins, Ga. – Dr. Ivan Allen, president of Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC), announced recently students named to the Central Georgia Technical College President’s Honor Roll for Spring Semester 2021.
To qualify, students must be in Academic Good Standing, earn a semester-based grade point average of 4.0 with an earned course load of at least 12 credit hours for the semester, and a work ethics grade of “2” or higher for each course completed.

Ahead of Fall Semester, CGTC Adds Articulation Agreements with University of Phoenix

Warner Robins, Ga.  Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) announced a new set of articulation agreements this summer with the University of Phoenix that create new pathways for CGTC graduates in high-demand Information Technology (IT) and Nursing programs to advance students to the baccalaureate level.

Georgia VECTR Center to Celebrate 5 Year Anniversary August 2

CGTC Athletic Programs and Student-Athletes Earn NJCAA Academic Honors

Macon, GA – The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) recently announced the 2020-21 Academic Teams of the Year. Despite circumstances due to COVID-19, NJCAA student-athletes flourished in the classroom as 820 teams earned at least a 3.0 GPA or better.
For the second-consecutive year, the CGTC women’s basketball program has been recognized as an NJCAA Academic Team of the Year. The Lady Titans earned a 3.55 GPA for the 2020-21 academic year, the ninth-highest GPA in the NJCAA for women’s basketball. Read More

CGTC Foundation Relaunches Alumni Network with Series of Special Events in July

Macon, Ga. – The Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Foundation recently announced the revitalization of its Alumni Network as it strives to connect and support graduates during several special events the week of July 12-16.
The CGTC Alumni Network will host two networking events called, “Off Work, Ready to Work,” for graduates to mingle and connect with local industry partners ready to hire. The events are limited to the first 50 participants.

New agreement between CGTC and GSW smooths transition for Information Technology students

Warner Robins, GA – Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) and Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) are partnering to provide new educational opportunities to students in an essential career field in today’s workforce. Meet the CGTC Dual Enrollment Graduate to Give Benediction at Graduation

Macon, Ga. – As the 2021 Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Commencement Ceremony approaches. one Dual Enrollment graduate will be one of the last listed on the Order of Exercises, but certainly not the least.
The College recently selected Timothy Burke, a Dual Enrollment graduate from Houston County High School, following a recommendation from the High School Initiatives office, to serve as the graduate to give the Benediction to his classmates.
