New CGTC Warehousing and Distribution Program to Begin March 7

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) is unpacking its newest program just in time for its Mini-Mester Session 2.  Enrollment is currently open for courses that will begin on March 7, 2019, in the College’s Warehousing & Distribution Specialist program on its Macon campus, a program designed to meet the growth of the distribution industry in central Georgia.

Female Dual Enrollment Student in Putnam County Wins a Very Non-traditional Beta Club Competition

Eatonton, Ga. – Putnam County High School (PCHS) dual enrollment student, Annabell Sapp, put new-fashioned welding skills to the test for the 80th Annual Senior Beta Convention held in January for Georgia’s high school Beta clubs, winning 1st place in a competition for a technical subject largely dominated by her male counterparts.

CGTC Announces Public Meeting for Initial Accreditation for Nursing Programs

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College’s (CGTC) Division of Nursing will host a public meeting as a part of a site review for initial accreditation of its associate degree and practical nursing degree programs on February 27, 2019, at 4:30 p.m. on the College’s Warner Robins campus auditorium in Building-A.

BB&T Foundation Awards $50,000 Grant to CGTC for New Workforce Initiative for Adult Education Students

Macon, Ga. – Reaching a livable income without a high school education often requires adults to advance gradually through adult education programs, job training, and then into a career, a process the BB&T Foundation aims to accelerate with its recent $50,000 award to the Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Foundation.

CGTC Announces Rick Perkins Award Winner and Adjunct Instructor of the Year

Warner Robins, Ga. – The Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) 2019 Rick Perkins Award for Excellence winner, Dr. Devona Bell, and Adjunct Instructor of the Year, Anita Ross, share a unique bond; Ross taught Bell in her ninth grade science class.
