Gov. Kemp and TCSG Announce New College and Career Academy Partners for Central Georgia Technical College

Warner Robins, Ga. – Governor Brian P. Kemp has announced that the State Board of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) approved grants totaling $6 million in bond funds to establish two new College and Career Academies (CCA) in the middle Georgia area. Both new academies will partner with Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) to offer career readiness training to high school students to support a qualified and greater workforce pipeline. CGTC’s Adult Education Division Names Bethany Merck of Dooly County as EAGLE Delegate

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College’s (CGTC) Adult Education Division (AED) recently announced, Dooly County resident, Bethany Merck, as its 2023 Dinah Culbreth Wayne Exceptional Adult Georgian in Literacy Education (EAGLE) delegate. 
 
Nominated by her instructor, Ethel Ross, and having participated in the College’s judging process, Merck will now represent CGTC and the AED at the EAGLE Leadership Institute in Atlanta, March 1-2, 2023. CGTC Physical Therapist Assistant Program Ranked Number One in Georgia

Warner Robins, GA – The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program at Central Georgia Technical College has been ranked as the number one program of its kind in the state by Careers Wiki, an online career guidance tool founded by education professionals in 2014. Midstate high schoolers get their hands dirty in head-to-head construction competition

MACON, Ga. (WGXA) — Students for 19 high schools across the Midstate are gathering for the Associated General Contractors of Georgia’s Central Georgia Workforce Development Alliance Skills Challenge at the Macon State Farmers’ Market.

Central Georgia Technical College Student Becomes First Dual Achievement Program Completer in the State

Warner Robins, Ga. – Aurmoni Robertson, a Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Academy student, has become the first completer of the newly established Dual Achievement Program (DAP) Pathway in the state. Robertson, who enrolled in the program in June 2022, has completed requirements to earn his credential, making CGTC the first college in the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) to award a high school diploma.

Central Georgia Business Donates $1,000 to Benefit Local Student

Warner Robins, GA – A Central Georgia Technical College student receives a $1,000 scholarship donation from high-speed fiber internet provider Kinetic to offset the cost of education.
