CGTC and Trinity School of Medicine Sign Historic Agreement for Medical Professions Pathway

Guaranteed Transfer for CGTC Students to Enter Trinity School of Medicine
Warner Robins, Ga. – Thanks to the recent signing of an agreement for the Medical Professions Pathway Transfer Program between Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) and Trinity School of Medicine (TSOM), just 77 semester hours stand between any CGTC student and medical school.

CGTC Foundation Receives Large Gifts from Health Partners for New Wellness Facility

Macon, GA – Atrium Health Navicent and Houston Healthcare are partnering with the Central Georgia Technical College Foundation and Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) by providing combined gifts of $1.2 million in support of a new health and wellness facility at CGTC’s campus in Warner Robins. 3rd Annual Mass Casualty Training at CGTC to Simulate Active Shooter Incident

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Division of Health Sciences and CGTC Police are partnering with the Warner Robins, Perry, and Centerville Fire and Police Departments, Houston Healthcare, Houston County Emergency Management, Houston County Fire Department, Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Houston County 911, Region-5 Trauma and Air Evac, and other regional emergency response personnel to create a joint field training exercise designed to simulate a real-world, on-campus, active shooter incident.

Central Georgia Technical College Earns No. 7 Ranking for Large Community Colleges with Military Friendly® School Designation

Warner Robins, Ga. – Military Friendly® released its rank of large community colleges this week and Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) earned the 2023-2024 Military Friendly® School Top-10 designation, ranking No. 7 in the large community college category.

CGTC Director of Nursing, Jessica Willcox, was named the Community Colleges for International Development 2023 Faculty innovation in Global Education Award winner during the organization’s 47th Annual Conference in February.
