Eatonton, Ga. – This summer the Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Putnam County Center is offering residents an accelerated course to earn certification for a high-demand healthcare career.
During the upcoming summer semester, students can earn their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in just 8 weeks.

The course will consist of 111 classroom hours and 24 clinical hours divided into three shifts at Eatonton Health & Rehabilitation under the careful supervision of an instructor.
Classes start June 5, 2023, and conclude July 28, 2023.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be certified in CPR Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, receive a Certificate of Completion for Nursing Assistance Program, and be eligible to sit for the CNA State Exam.
