Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) bids a heartfelt farewell to Mrs. Brenda Brown, Vice President for Adult Education, who is retiring this December after an illustrious 32-year career at the College.
Over three decades, Mrs. Brown has shaped adult education and literacy efforts in Central Georgia earning recognition as a compassionate educator, relentless advocate, and inspiring leader.

A Hallmark Win Pushes CGTC Adult Education Graduate to Grow Greeting Card Business

Warner Robins, Ga. – Greeting cards designed by Rhonda Miller, winner of the 2017 GED® Graduate of Outstanding Achievement for Georgia, sell without inspirational messages on the inside. Miller, a 1992 graduate of the Adult Education program at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC), did not get her greeting card business off the ground until the beginning of the decade, but now with recognition of her entrepreneurial spirit by her peers, she is hoping her story might inspire the message someone writes in the card. CGTC’s Adult Education Division Takes Home Multiple Awards at Fall Conference

Warner Robins, Ga. – The Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Adult Education Division recently took home five awards at the Technical College System of Georgia’s (TCSG) 2017 Adult Education Fall Conference and GED® Awards, including one individual award for a GED® graduate of outstanding achievement.
