Warner Robins, Ga. – Students and faculty from the Radiologic Technology program at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) recently returned from a radiology education conference where they saw one student capture first place in an academic knowledge competition.
The College’s students participated in seminars, a mock registry examination, and the Student Bee competition at the West Coast Educators Council Educator, Student and Radiographer Conference in Orlando in February.
Seniors, Daniel Ham, Sarah Robinson, and Jessica Flynn, competed in the Student Bee Competition, putting their academic knowledge to the test against their peers nationwide. Robinson took home 1st place out of 108 participants and earned $200 in winnings. Flynn placed in the top ten.
