3 hours academic credit for Humanities 1101 (prerequisite English 1101)


Open to all TCSG students

If you are a TCSG student, you may register as a transient student at CGTC with no application fee. Credits will be transferred to your home institution at the end of the semester.


Historic Sites

Tour the historic city of York (including the largest gothic cathedral in northern Europe), Castle Howard, and Whitby, the setting of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

Inclusive Trip

Price per student will be $3,400 including including tuition and fees, air fare, required travel insurance, accommodations, most food, transportation, entry to historical sites.

Gilman-McCain Scholarship

The Gilman-McCain Scholarship is a congressionally funded initiative of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State and named after the late senator John S. McCain from Arizona.

The Gilman-McCain Scholarship provides awards of $5,000 for child dependents of active duty service members to study or intern abroad on credit-bearing programs.

If you are considering the study abroad session, you must have completed English 1101 by the end of spring semester and must NOT have taken Humanities 1101 since that is the course you will be taking during summer semester.
