CGTC Celebrates Recent High Academic Achievements of Peach and Bibb Dual Enrollment Students

Warner Robins, Ga. – With thousands of Dual Enrollment students at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC), two students have recently stood out among the brightest at their local high schools.  
In Peach County, Kelsie Perez earned recognition as Peach County High School’s valedictorian and has been accepted into Georgia Institute of Technology (GT) in the fall. A’Laila Hampton, of Bibb County, is a senior at Southwest High School and was announced as salutatorian.

CGTC Commencement Ceremony Coming to Atrium Health Amphitheater on May 3 

Macon, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) is pleased to announce that its 2024 Commencement Ceremony will take place at the new, Atrium Health Amphitheater on Friday, May 3 at 7 p.m. 
The College leadership welcomes the location change for this year’s graduation to continue the momentum of support for Macon-Bibb Counties’ improvements to the Eisenhower Boulevard and Macon Mall area; an area central to the College’s mission.

CGTC Announces Inaugural NJCAA Division-I Football Schedule

Dual Achievement Program at CGTC Helps Monroe County Student Land $50K Welding Job

CGTC’S Adult Education Division Names Shayla Cochran as Eagle Delegate  

Warner Robins, Ga.— Central Georgia Technical College’s (CGTC) Adult Education Division (AED) recently announced, Shayla Cochran, as its 2024 Dinah Culbreth Wayne Exceptional Adult Georgian in Literacy Education (EAGLE) delegate. 
 Nominated by her instructor, Lisa Dennis, and having participated in the College’s judging process, Cochran will now represent CGTC and the AED at the EAGLE Leadership Institute in Atlanta, March 2024.
