Central Georgia Technical College Receives Bloomberg Philanthropies Gift to Support Georgia’s VECTR Center

Warner Robins, Ga.—Georgia’s Veterans Education Career Transition Resource (VECTR) Center has received a $100,000 grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies.  Bloomberg Philanthropies works in 480 cities in more than 120 countries around the world to ensure better, longer lives for the greatest number of people. The organization, which encompasses all of Michael R. Bloomberg’s charitable activities, focuses on five key areas: Arts, Education, Environment, Government Innovation, and Public Health.

CGTC Receives Federal Grant to Help Veterans and Families Fill Truck Driver Demand

Cosmetology Program at CGTC Organizes Yard Sale Fundraiser for Veterans

Macon, Ga. – Continuing in its tradition of fall fundraisers for community organizations, the Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Cosmetology program is putting together a yard sale benefitting Macon’s Homeport Veterans Transition Home.
