Macon. Ga. – The Macon Bacon announced a new partnership with Central Georgia Technical College  bringing together two organizations committed to creating opportunities, supporting the local community, and enhancing the fan experience throughout Middle Georgia.

As part of the partnership, the party deck at Luther Williams Field will officially be named the CGTC Party Deck, updating a fan favorite gathering space for the community to enjoy throughout the 2026 season.
Through this partnership, Central Georgia Technical College will work alongside the Macon Bacon to promote educational opportunities, workforce development, and community engagement initiatives during the season and beyond.

“We are excited to partner with Central Georgia Technical College,” said Brandon Rapheal, President of the Macon Bacon. “Both of our organizations share a passion for investing in the future of Central Georgia and creating memorable experiences for the community. We are especially excited for the CGTC Party Deck to continue to be premier space for fans to gather and enjoy the ballpark experience.”

“The Macon Bacon offer one of the most unique entertainment and sports options locally, but what the College has come to appreciate is their dedicated approach to community engagement and partnership in higher education that supports student scholarships and well-being,” said JoBen Rivera-Thompson, CGTC’s Director of Marketing, Public Relations and International Outreach. “Partnering with the Bacon means more opportunity for internships, summer jobs, scholarships and making the Titan and Bacon spirit come alive in our community each summer.”

Central Georgia Technical College has long been recognized for providing accessible, high-quality education and workforce training opportunities throughout the region. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to connecting students and families with opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
