CGTC REACH Organization is Collecting Donations for Macon Warming Center

Macon, Ga. – Throughout February, the College’s Raising Expectations of Achievement (REACH) program is collecting coats, socks, blankets and other warm apparel for donation to the Brookdale Warming Center in Macon.
This year’s donation drive is in partnership with the Macon-Bibb 4-H program and its Sock Across America initiative.

CGTC Nursing Students Continue to Aid Vaccination Efforts

Warner Robins, Ga. – Last week Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Registered Nursing (RN) students once again stepped in to meet the needs of local health systems in administering vaccines to the public.

Carl Vinson VAMC Collaborates with Georgia VECTR Center to Distribute COVID-19 Vaccine

Rotary Club of Greene and Putnam Counties Establishes Adult Ed Scholarship at CGTC

Eatonton Ga. –Interest in creating a scholarship to support Adult Education students at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) grew over the last few months for the Rotary Club of Greene and Putnam Counties, and on Friday, it became official.

GSW and CGTC Sign Agreement to Allow Nursing Students to Earn Bachelor’s Degree

Warner Robins, Ga. – Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) and Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) signed an articulation agreement this week that will aid transition for students in the College’s nursing programs into an online bachelor’s degree with GSW.
CGTC President Dr. Ivan H. Allen and GSW president Dr. Neal Weaver signed the agreement alongside leadership from both institutions.
The signing makes official a partnership to enhance enrollment flexibility to Nursing students. Through the agreement, qualifying students in the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program can apply to an online Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree pathway or bridge. Read More

CGTC Physical Therapist Assistant Program Earns Accreditation, Pins First Class December 3

Warner Robins, Ga. – Two years ago, Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) opened enrollment for the Physical Therapist Assistant program, one of its most innovative and state-of-the-art associate degree programs.
