CGTC Names Instructor of the Year and Adjunct of the Year Awards

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) recently named Shawna Early, a Business and Computer Technologies program chair for computer skills, and Rabon Hewell, an adjunct instructor in health sciences, the Rick Perkins Award Winner and Adjunct Instructor of the Year for 2018, respectively.

CGTC Earns High Ranking for Online Programs

Warner Robins, Ga. – As a commitment to quality service for the 43 percent of Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) students enrolled in online courses and programs is maintained, the Distance Education Division ranked No. 2 in OnlineColleges.com’s state list for 2017.

CGTC Hemodialysis Student Targets Archery Gold at 2017 NatWest Island Games

Milledgeville, Ga. – Tiffany Slaton, a first-year student at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC), will put-off her start in the Hemodialysis Technology program to compete in archery competitions at the 2017 NatWest Island Games, June 24-30 in Gotland, Sweden, representing Bermuda as one of 24 island nations present.Slaton, who attends classes on the Milledgeville campus, received the invitation to compete in the games from the Bermuda Archery Association the day before she found out she had been accepted into the competitive Hemodialysis Technology program at CGTC.
