Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) designated, Wykesia Stafford, a second-year Construction Management student, as the winner of the Georgia Occupational Award for Leadership (GOAL) at the College’s Awards Day ceremony earlier this month. Warner Robins, Ga. – Waves of appreciative veterans lined up for breakfast burritos and free haircuts, at the Georgia Veterans Education Career Transition Resource (VECTR) Center on Thursday, and at least for one, it came as a healthy serving of the unique work of the Center.
Patrick Flaherty, 32, served in the Air Force for 12 years, 11months, and 22 days. He spent time stationed in Germany, Valdosta, Ga., and at the end of June of this year he retired and relocated from Arizona to Warner Robins. Read More

Milledgeville, Ga. – The Cosmetology program at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) will host a Fall Fundraiser on the College’s Milledgeville campus Saturday, September 16, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the H-Building. All Proceeds from the event benefit the Georgia War Veteran’s Home in Milledgeville.
Fundraising for local charities occurs annually for the Cosmetology program. Last year’s super-hero themed fundraiser benefiting pediatric cancer helped the program reach over $20,000 in the six years it has raised funds. Read More
