CGTC and MetroPower Form Apprenticeship

Macon, Ga. – Leadership from Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) and MetroPower, a premier electrical contractor in Macon, recently signed an agreement to provide access for apprentices to gain college credit under the company’s registered apprenticeship program.

CGTC Announces Dr. Alvin Harmon as New Dean of Health Sciences Division

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) recently announced its newest dean of its Heath Sciences Division, Dr. Alvin Harmon.
Dr. Harmon joins the College following service as the interim Dean for Science, Mathematics and Health Professions at Atlanta Metropolitan State College.

Warner Robins, Ga – Susana Zody, an English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor from the Adult Education Division, received recognition from Academic Affairs as the 2020 Adjunct Instructor of the Year for Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC).

CGTC Signs Agreement to Enhance Supply Chain Management through Internship at Robins AFB

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC), the 638th Supply Chain Management Group (638th SCMG) and the 431st Supply Chain Management Squadron (431st SCMS) recently met to formally establish an internship program for the purpose of enhancing the group with a skilled workforce.

CGTC’s Adult Education Division Names Emanuel Clark as EAGLE Delegate

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College’s (CGTC) Adult Education Division (AED) recently announced, Bibb County resident, Emanuel Clark, 32, as its 2020 Exceptional Adult Georgian in Literacy Education (EAGLE) delegate.

CGTC Names Larry Jackson its 2020 GOAL Winner

Warner Robins, Ga. – Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) designated Larry Jackson, 42, a student in the Clinical Laboratory Technology program, as the winner of the Georgia Occupational Award for Leadership (GOAL) at the College’s Awards Day ceremony earlier this month. Jackson will now move on to the regional and state GOAL competitions in the spring of 2020.
