In July, the Global Initiatives Office at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) saw their first cohort of students study abroad in York, England. Students took part in business and humanities courses at York St. John University’s (YSJU) Global Campus.
The trip followed an agreement signed in March which served to solidify the transition of its two-year curriculum to the four-year institution in York, United Kingdom. The July trip is the initial step in the partnership, which hopes to see students pursue other articulation routes into YSJU undergraduate programs that are currently under development.
