Julian Epps, a student in the Business Management program, competed in the “Foundations on Finance” category earning a second-place finish, and also in the “Job Interview” category earning fourth place.

Joined by advisors, Courtney Watkins and Sydney Hall, he earned the award at the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Atlanta in April. The student organization experienced a weekend filled with workshops, team-building exercises, motivational speakers, and various competitions.

“Julian is a great example of the work ethic of our student body, and we are proud that he is representing the College this summer,” said Watkins “As a student organization, we hope that more students will see his example and want to put their best into events and competitions in FBLA.”

Epps’s placement in the two competitions qualifies him to attend the FBLA National Conference and represent CGTC, which will be held June 21-25 in Atlanta.
