The Center is open Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. except for scheduled holidays and professional development days. The Center calendar closely aligns to CGTC’s college calendar.

Our Staff
The Child Development Center is staffed by educators who have education and experience providing care and education for young children.
Our Enrollment
Enrollment is available, based on availability, for children 2-years through 8-years old. The Center maintains separate waiting lists for children of the community, children of PELL eligible CGTC students, and children eligible for GA Pre-K. Each of these waiting lists corresponds to dedicated spots for each enrollment category. Priority registration is given to children of CGTC employees. Special consideration may be granted to children with special needs.
The Center has toddler classrooms (24 months to 36 months) with a maximum enrollment of 12, a younger preschool classroom (3 years) with a maximum enrollment of 18, older preschool classrooms (ages 3 – 4 yrs) with a maximum enrollment of 18 per classroom, and Georgia Pre-K inclusion classrooms with a maximum enrollment of 18 children per classroom.
Licensure
The Center is licensed to operate by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning.
Accreditation
The Center is proud to have earned NAEYC Accreditation – the mark of quality for early learning programs.
The Center is also Quality Rated.
