Evening Childcare Services Begin August 13 on CGTC’s Warner Robins and Macon Campuses

Warner Robins, Ga. – ‘A new day is dawning, and it starts at night’ is the slogan behind the start of Central Georgia Technical College’s (CGTC) Child Development Center’s (CDC) newest service to student-parents.

CGTC Briefs OneMacon Project Members on Technical Education’s Workforce Impact

Macon, Ga. – The clear message from leadership at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) speaking to members of OneMacon, the city’s strategic community improvement project which held a monthly meeting this week on the College’s Macon campus, was this; addressing Macon’s workforce needs starts with technical education.

CGTC Student Ambassadors Volunteer at Local Veterans Home

Macon, Ga. – Earlier in November, more than twenty Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Student Ambassadors and staff members joined other community volunteers to give back to residents of Home Port Macon Veterans Transition Center.

Career and Academic Fair for Students Coming Mid-October

Warner Robins, Ga. – To gear up for its Fall 2017 Career and Academic Fair in October, Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Career Services will host a series of three workshops, leading up to and after the event, focused on networking, resume writing and cover letters, respectively. Central Georgia Technical College Announces Summer Semester 2017 President’s Honor Roll

Warner Robins, Ga. – Dr. Ivan Allen, president of Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC), announced recently that the following area students were named to the Central Georgia Technical College President’s Honor Roll for Summer Semester 2017.
To qualify, students must be in Academic Good Standing, earn a semester-based grade point average of 4.0 with an earned course load of at least 12 credit hours for the semester, with a work ethics grade of “2” or higher for each course completed. Read More
