Cybersecurity Workshop Coming to CGTC

August 23, 2017

Warner Robins, Ga. – The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) will host a cybersecurity workshop on the Warner Robins campus of Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) on August 30, 2017, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The workshop, entitled Cybersecurity Challenges: Protecting the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Systems and Information, will focus on topics including efforts to improve cybersecurity, policy overview, the industry’s role, and career fields within the industry.

As cybersecurity remains an area of concern for defense leaders, DAU seeks to provide clarity on cybersecurity and the DoD acquisition life cycle. The upcoming workshop will provide the starting point for a two-way conversation on cybersecurity with the Defense Acquisition Workforce, academia, and industry partners.

CGTC’s Warner Robins campus is located at 80 Cohen Walker Drive. The workshop will be held in the Building-A Auditorium. Seating is limited to the first 350 participants. While no registration is required, guests are encouraged to arrive early.
Defense Acquisition Workforce members earn three (3) Continuous Learning Points by attending.
