Welcome to Fall semester! CGTC offers several options for course delivery, including on-campus classes, hybrid (partially remote and partially on-campus) classes, or fully remote (online) classes.. On-campus classes will follow safety guidelines under guidance from the Governor’s Executive Orders, the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG), and Georgia public health officials.
Please check your CGTC email for specific instructions regarding your on-campus class meetings, as schedules may have changed. There is also important COVID-19 related safety information on your syllabus. Student Email
Check your student email frequently to stay up to date on important information, deadlines, student activities, and more.
Using student email
To access your student email using your mobile device, download the Microsoft Outlook app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Login to the app using your full CGTC student email address and the same password that you have set for your student email account (initially, your password is set to your date of birth in MMDDYY format). Please note that this information is provided as a courtesy to students; CGTC does not provide technical support for student-owned devices or the Microsoft app.
BannerWeb
BannerWeb is used to check the status of financial aid, sign up for classes, drop classes, check final grades, update mailing addresses and phone numbers, and more.
Using BannerWeb
- Click BannerWeb and click Enter BannerWeb
- User Name: Your CGTC student user name (the part of your student email address before the @ sign)
- Password: If you do not know your password, you will need to reset your password in the Student Portal
Blackboard
Information about Blackboard and online class account information is found on the
Online Classes section of the website. For help with Blackboard, contact your instructor first. For new students, there is up to a 12-hour delay after registration before you will be able to login to Blackboard.
Using Blackboard
- Click Blackboard
- Click/Select the “Blackboard Login Here” logo
- A login page will open
- User Name: Your CGTC student user name (the part of your student email address before the @ sign)
- Password: If you do not know your password, you will need to reset your password in the Student Portal
Trouble Accessing a Student Account

- Visit www.centralgatech.edu/studenttech for technology information.
- For questions about student technology other than Blackboard, send an email to info@centralgatech.edu.
- If you are having problems with your class in Blackboard, email your instructor for help first. If you have not received a response in 24 hours, email online@centralgatech.edu.

What if I don't have technological support or equipment at home to participate in alternative modes of learning?
The Macon, Milledgeville, and Warner Robins campus libraries are open to currently enrolled students.
Hours: Monday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Computer availability is limited. Please be considerate of your fellow Titans and use library computers for coursework and job-seeking activities. If the library reaches max capacity, students may be limited to 2 hours of computer use.
Requirements to use space- Students must be healthy, practice social distancing, and use proper hygiene. Masks or face coverings are encouraged.

Is tutoring available?
Yes! Tutoring is available in person and online. Visit our
new online tutoring platform to schedule a tutoring session and submit your writing assignments for review. Your CGTC tutors are ready to help you succeed this semester!

How do I return a library book?
Beginning August 18th, students will be able to check out and return library books to any CGTC library Monday – Thursday between 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. If you have any questions, you can contact the library via email at

What if I'm behind in my class? What if I'm experiencing a personal hardship?
The TEAMS Outreach Center provides early intervention services for students. Whether you are struggling with classes, have a specific hardship, are being affected by changes related to COVID-19 procedures, or just have general questions, we have resources to help you.
